James Halpern (Psychology), director of the Institute for Disaster Mental Health (IDMH), will attend a United Nations symposium, titled Supporting Victims of Terrorism, Sept. 9-10.
Halpern will join an international group of experts who will observe, analyze and summarize the symposium’s proceedings before making recommendations to the U.N. member states regarding how to provide support to victims of terrorism.
