The Office of Human Resources has announced the college’s new hires, promotions and transfers for December 2008 and January 2009.

New hires – Academic faculty: Mary Ellen Bafumo (Elementary Education), assistant professor; Mark Rumnit (Educational Opportunity Program), advisor.  Professional faculty: Shanna Vitale (Athletics) head coach – field hockey coach and assistant coach – women’s lacrosse coach; Joshua Simons (Center for Research, Regional Education and Outreach), research associate. Classified staff: Lynn Poczciwinski (Administrative Services), stores clerk I; Michael Puckett (University Police), officer I; Susan Robinson (Development), agency program aide; Matthew Travis (Grounds), worker; Justin Madero (Facilities), maintenance assistant; and Julia Verdile (Student Teaching), keyboard specialist; and Justin Wendover (Custodial), cleaner.

Promotions – Classified staff: John Lane (Facilities), maintenance assistant.
