Center for Research, Regional Education and Outreach offers public-service scholarship
The Center for Research, Regional Education and Outreach (CRREO) has established a year-long, full-tuition scholarship and internship for New Paltz juniors who are interested in a career in public service.
The Cetrino Family Scholarship covers tuition and fees (totaling $5,141) and an annual living stipend of $7,400, in addition to the paid internship. The scholarship was established by Tom Cetrino ’73 (Political Science) in honor of his parents and in collaboration with the SUNY New Paltz Foundation.
Applicants should be entering their junior year at the college, have financial need, and be willing to accept a paid internship at CREEO for an average of 15 hours per week during the school year and summer.
Interested students should apply no later than Friday, Sept. 18, to the Financial Aid Office in the Haggerty Administration Building, room 603, with a letter of interest, an unofficial transcript, and recommendations from two faculty members.
