Lead programmer/analyst Joan Connolly, (Computer Services), presented “What We Learned Getting Workflow to Production” at SunGard Summit, New Orleans in March. She demonstrated Workflow techniques that she learned when she put Banner Workflow into production, including integrating Web services, HTML and Xtender.
Senior program/analyst Lijun Yuan (Computer Services) presented “Streamlined the Process for Advancement Office” at SunGard Summit, New Orleans, in March, where she demonstrated Advancement Argos Datablocks she has developed, which allow users to select their population for review, modify their population, create and transmit their file and then review the file that will be uploaded into Banner. This gives users total control of the process, eliminating the need for IT intervention.
Evening supervisor, Casey Hickey (Instructional Media Services), and Professor Glenn Geher (Psychology) and director of evolutionary studies program have been selected as finalists in the Global Reach category of Sonic Foundry’s annual Rich Media Impact Awards.
