Assistant Professor Aaron Haselton (Biology) has published the paper titled “Insulin Injection and Hemolymph Extraction to Measure Insulin Sensitivity in Adult Drosophila melanogaster” in the June 2011 issue of the peer reviewed Journal of Visualized Experiments. This multimedia article illustrates experimental techniques developed at the College that are used to investigate endocrine signaling in the fruit fly (the premier model organism for biological research). Assistant Professor Benjamin Junge’s (Anthropology) research was published in the article “A fag by any other name: Social concerns over same-gender sexuality and self-image in Porto Alegre, Brazil” in the peer-reviewed journal, Gender and Language, 2010, volume 4, pages 221-256.
