Preschoolers from The Children’s Center were treated to Story Hour in the Sojourner Truth Library lobby on Monday, April 9. The annual event was attended by approximately two dozen children and several parents. Associate Librarian Susan Kraat and University at Albany library intern Melissa Haselton read the new Caldecott Award-winning picture book, A Ball for Daisy, Russell Hoban’s classic Bread and Jam for Francis, and two books by Julia Donaldson, The Gruffalo and The Spiffiest Giant in Town.
