With the help of an Undergraduate Research Experience Travel Award (URETA), Sarath Manuel ’13 (Psychology) presented the results of his research at the 53rd Annual Psychonomic Society Meeting in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which was held Nov. 15-18. Along with his mentor, Professor Navin Viswanathan (Psychology), he presented Sensitivity to VOT- Vowel Length Covariation in Spanish and English Monolinguals. Manuel researched his subject matter when he was a part of the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) funded by the Undergraduate Research, Scholarship and Creative Activities (RSCA) program. The URETA award is available to students who have participated in either SURE or the Academic Year Undergraduate Research Experience (AYURE) programs. More information about URETA is available here.
