Oxford University Press has released “Mating Intelligence Unleashed: The Role of the Mind in Sex, Dating, and Love,” co-authored by Professor Glenn Geher (Psychology) with Scott Barry Kaufman (NYU). This book summarizes recent research on the interface of human mating and cognitive processes. Most of that research was conducted by the Evolutionary Psychology Lab at New Paltz.
Professor Emeritus Dudley Cahn (Communication and Media) has co-authored, with Ruth Abigail (Azusa Pacific University), a chapter titled,“Working with You is Killing Me: Learning How to Effectively Handle Workplace Conflict,” published in the book, “Workplace Communication for the 21st Century: Tools and Strategies that Impact the Bottom Line,” by Jason Wrench (Ed.), (Westport, CT: Praeger, 2012).
Professor Corwin Senko (Psychology), Hidetoshi Hama ’12g (Psychology), and Kimberly Belmonte ’11g (Psychology) have published an article, “Achievement goals, study strategies, and achievement: A test of the ‘learning agenda’ framework,” in the journal Learning and Individual Differences.
