Preparations are continuing for the transition to DegreeWorks, a new, easy-to-use, web-based academic advisement tool that will replace the current Degree Audit Reporting System (DARS).
DegreeWorks will combine student records data with course catalog information to create individualized progress reports that can be easily read and understood by students and faculty alike. The tool is being rolled out incrementally, and most of the student body will be using it by the fall 2013 semester.
General information sessions for students (faculty are welcome!) will be held on April 2 at 2 p.m. and April 17 at 10 a.m. Both sessions will be held in LC 108. Each session will last approximately one hour. Questions can be directed to Associate Registrar Laura Schultz at firstname.lastname@example.org or ext. 3102.
