Research, Scholarship and Creative Activities (RSCA) has announced that nine New Paltz students have been accepted to present the results of their faculty-mentored research projects at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. NCUR is very competitive and New Paltz students had a 100 percent acceptance rate. The conference will be held April 11-13, 2013.
The students who have been chosen to participate are: Lani Nelson ’13 (Asian Studies), Remy LeDily ’13 (Communication Disorders), Maria Ortiz ’15 (Biology), Francy Hernandez ’14 (Biochemistry), Anastasia Psaras ’13 (Linguistics) Chen Zhou (Linguistics), Kathleen Brousseau’13 (Art History), Miriam Ward ’15 (History), and Elizabeth Koza ’13 (History)
Faculty mentors are: Oksana Laleko (Linguistics), Maureen Morrow (Biology), Dan Freedman (Chemistry), Kerry Dean Carso (Art History), and Michael Vargas (History).
