Professor Vicki Tromanhauser (English) has won the Andrew J. Kappel Prize in Literary Criticism for her article “Mrs. Dalloway’s Animals and the Humanist Laboratory” forthcoming in Twentieth-Century Literature.
Professor Eve Waltermaurer (Sociology) has received a $12,104 grant from Family of Woodstock for her project titled, “Evaluation of Ulster County’s Juvenile Justice Alternative to Juvenile Detention.” Waltermaurer has also received a $7,755 grant from Council on Addiction Prevention and Education (CAPE) for her project titled, “Council on Addiction Prevention and Education Youth Risk Survey.”
Professor Salvatore Engel-Di Mauro (Geography) has received a $7,214 grant from SUNY/RF Sustainability Fund for his project titled, “Energy Conservation, Urban Gardens, and Heavy Metal Exposure Mitigation.”
