School of Ed hosts Numeracy Club for elementary students

The School of Education and the Department of Elementary Education are again offering a free after-school program for children in grades K-5 focused on mathematics and science. This program provides enrichment activities for children in a non-threatening, low-stress environment focused on inquiry-based and problem-solving activities, skill building math games, children’s literature and non-fiction connections, as well as homework support. Classes will be held on Mondays and Thursdays throughout the fall. Space is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. To register or receive more information, email
