Derryl MacLean ’72 (Asian Studies) is the co-editor, with Sikeena Karmali Ahmed, of a new book, “Cosmopolitanisms in Muslim Contexts: Perspectives from the Past” (Edinburgh University Press). MacLean is director of the Centre for the Comparative Study of Muslim Societies and Cultures and associate professor in the Department of History at Simon Fraser University, Canada.
