“Educating Undergraduate Psychology Students about Stigma and Mental Illness: From the Classroom to the Field,” by Professor Greta Winograd (Psychology) appeared in the winter 2014 newsletter of the American Psychological Association’s Division 27 (Community Research and Action), The Community Psychologist. Professor Glenn Geher (Psychology) edited a special issue of EvoS Journal: The Journal of the Evolutionary Studies Consortium titled titled “The future of evolutionary studies in higher education.” Briana Tauber ’12 (Psychology), a current New Paltz graduate student, is the project’s editorial associate. Several additional New Paltz faculty and students authored articles for the issue. The issue is a result of papers that were presented at the 2012 Summit of the EvoS Consortium that was held on campus in October 2012. The articles address many different facets of the state of affairs regarding EvoS in academia now, and authors include some of the world’s top thinkers on these issues.

Emeritus Professor Gerald Sorin (History) had an article titled “New York” published in volume 4 of the Enzyklopadie jusicher Gesshichte und Kulture (Encyclopedia of Jewish History and Culture), Verlag J.B. Metlzler, Stuttgart, Germany, in December 2013.
