IMS introduces new technology upgrades

February 6, 2014

IMS powerdmcablesInstructional Media Services (IMS) has introduced several important upgrades to classrooms this semester. The three front rows of chairs in LC 100 now turn 180 degrees, enabling classroom conversations and collaboration. Audio levels have been adjusted for the microphones in LC 100 and LC 102 for the best clarity. Classrooms on the second floor in the Humanities Building now have the same Crestron control boxes that are in most of the other smart classrooms on campus. All projectors on the third floor of Humanities have been replaced with new ones. The College Terrace now has a ceiling-mounted projector, screen, Crestron control panel, and connections for laptops, tablets, iPods, or DVD players are now easily accessible (users must provide their own laptops or tablets).
