HALL OF ART: Jennifer Daly ’11 (Visual Arts) is one of 17 Integrated Design I students working during the evening hours to produce a mural on the basement wall between the Haggerty Administration Building and the Student Union Building. John McEnrue (Facilities Design and Construction) approached the Art Department about finding a creative way to dress up the temporary construction wall between the two buildings. The project was a collaboration between his department and the students in Thomas Albrecht’s (Art) class. Students developed and implemented a design for the wall focusing on ecosystems found in the New Paltz area. Recycled paint from the college was used in approximately 75 percent of the 100-foot mural. Ray Bryant (University Police) and Brian Pine (Facilities Operations and Maintenance) also provided support for the project.
