Monday, August 3rd, 2009

All departments that have been granted a Work Study allocation for the 2009-2010 academic year are invited to participate in the 5th Annual Work Study Job Fair on Sept. 2. The deadline for registration is Aug. 17.

Departments interested in having a representative attend the event, which will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Student Union, can contact Cynthia Harkins (Financial Aid) at x3247 or harkinsc@newpaltz.edu.

At the event, students who have been awarded Work Study for the upcoming year will meet with various departments looking to interview and hire Work Study students. There will be giveaways, prizes, and refreshments.

The fair is sponsored by the Office of Financial Aid in conjunction with the Office of Student Activities. Campus Auxiliary Services (CAS) will provide refreshments.
